Michel Corbiere is a man of multiple talents. He began his acting career at the early age of 3 years old, acting on commercials for radio and television in Puerto Rico. By age 6 he began working on multiple Spanish soap operas that took him to places such as Mexico and Venezuela. At the age of 8, he became the youngest actor to star on his own sitcom “My Dad and Me”, a top rated show which ran for 5 years. His extensive work in theater is also well remembered.
In 1990, Michel gets casted in a Paramount Pictures film, “A Show of Force” playing a terrorist next to Lou Diamond Phillips and Kevin Spacey. After this production, Michel moves to New York to begin film school at New York University (NYU). He also took intensive programs at NY Film Academy, and seminars/workshops given by the Industy leaders over the next few years.
At the same time, he establishes himself as one of the top and most sought-after Spanish Voice Over talents in NYC and Coast to Coast, becoming the Brand Voice for clients such as Master Card, Verizon, Heineken, McDonald’s, NY Lotto, HSBC Bank, American Airlines, Jeep, Coca Cola, Macy’s, Lifetime Channel, and The Army among many many others, having won multiple awards and recognitions along the way. Since 2005 he’s the official voice/live announcer of the Latin Grammys, and in 2008 became the voice of the new Vme TV, a Spanish version of PBS covering the whole nation.
He has given spanish Voice Over coaching to Hispanic and American actors and celebrities in need of Spanish accent elimination, articulation help, and regional dialect acquisition helping them achieve their personal best.
In mid 2007, Michel opened his full service production company and post-production studio, Circus Maximus Films, where he directs and produces commercials with his talented group of editors, sound designers, composers and musicians.
Early 2009 will see Michel Corbiere’s feature film directing debut with the comedy “El Regreso” followed by “Chica House”, a story about Human Trafficking in NYC.
